Strojna obrada Gregurek is a family business with a tradition of over 60 years. The roots of the company can be tracked down to 1953 when Dragutin Gregurek opened a small company that produced pistons for motorbikes, which was a very brave decision because of both the social environment which was against private businesses and the technology required for such a product.

Because of the quality which was the result of experience and innovation, Mr. Gregurek quickly established a reputation on the market back then, and he quickly started doing work on other motorcycle parts.

Very soon after the wave of personal auto-mobilization swept across the country and it was important to expand the business towards the automobile side of things, and the company started doing work on car engine parts. It was even more important to have professional and responsible employees now that the precision required was higher than ever.

After graduating from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture in 1973. Mr. Gregurek is joined by his son Zlatko and after the retirement of the old master, since autumn 1974., the location of the company changed to today's address in Novi Zagreb-Zapruđe, Adamićeva 1.

As time passes, we are add to and renewing our fleet of machines, which is now at the level of being able to do complete machining for the general overhaul of all internal combustion engines.
